Carlon Knight – Consultant
Carlon Knight is a corporate and financial consultant with a strong focus on banking and finance, corporate law, and environmental sustainability. He holds a Master’s degree in Development Economics from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam and a Master’s in Finance, Leadership, and Management from the University of York, and is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) with the University of London as part of his path to qualification as a Solicitor of England and Wales (expected 2027), with plans to convert to practice at the Antiguan Bar thereafter.
Complementing his legal and financial expertise, Carlon holds advanced credentials in sustainable and green finance, including diplomas in Sustainable Investing from Harvard Business School, ESG Investing from the CFA Institute, and Green and Sustainable Finance from the Chartered Bankers Institute (London).
Before joining Montgomery Chambers, Carlon built a distinguished career in diplomacy, serving at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Antigua and Barbuda High Commission in London. He was selected for the prestigious Alliance of Small Island States (AOSIS) Fellowship, where he trained at the United Nations in climate change, sustainable development diplomacy, and climate finance.At Montgomery Chambers, Carlon advises on environmental, and sustainability matters as well as complex financial transactions, with recent work including a capitalization agreement for the Antigua and Barbuda Development Bank.
A recipient of a national scholarship and a former CXC Top Student, Carlon brings excellence, diligence, and dedication to every engagement. Outside of his professional practice, he is a published commentator on socio-economic issues in Antigua and Barbuda and a frequent media panelist, with a passion for reading widely and playing the piano in his spare time.
